Important update about our music ministry
As many of you know, Bruce, our beloved Organist and Choirmaster, has shared his intention to retire at the end of 2026. His faithful leadership, musicianship, and deep care for this parish have shaped our worship life in profound and lasting ways. We will have many opportunities in the coming months and years to celebrate his ministry among us and to give thanks for all he has offered.
With this transition on the horizon, we have begun the process of discerning the next leader of our music ministry. We will be posting the position and inviting applicants to consider joining the Grace Church community.
Our goal is to ensure a thoughtful, prayerful, and collaborative search for a Director of Music Ministry and Organist will build upon the rich history of musical excellence at Grace Church and help us share that gift with our wider community.
I ask for your prayers for Bruce as he prepares for this next chapter, and for all who will take part in the discernment and search process. May we continue to trust that the Holy Spirit is guiding us with wisdom, creativity, and hope.
